The government is sifting through all public provided data that exists on the web, which isn’t against the law since we willingly provide these comments/content publicly.

What I do find violating is how the government is LURKING and not contributing to any of these social mediums and excuses itself from such culture. I argue it is legal to block government scanning of ‘public’ content and would encourage such programming to commence.

I surely hope the government is not using bots to bypass website log-in protocols and number/text verification systems. That would be a breach of many things, not to mention poor representation of the nation in which you were elected to serve.
